2697 25pc 1.0mm to 13.0mm Contractors HSS Ground Drill Bit Set 

A no-frills approach to metal drilling. Amazingly enough, this drill bit set has proven to be a non-stop seller despite the low price!

Usually, low cost HSS drill bits are "Rolled Flute" - where a piece of HSS steel is rolled (weakened) and twisted (weakened further) into a low cost drill bit. This set features "Ground" drill bits - where a solid piece of HSS steel is taken and the drill profile is ground out (keeping a majority of the drill bit strength).

Great for non ferrous metals, plastics, wood, MDF etc - will drill harder steel, but remember there are higher grade drill bits for doing a higher grade drill application.

As with all HSS drill bits, use a cutting fluid/paste when drilling metal.
