To save battery power, all manufacturers suggest that any cordless saw (trim or mitre) you should always use a thin kerf blade.

A thin kerf blade naturally makes a thinner cut which helps battery longevity.

Kamtec manufacture the most common sizes which are 165mm diameter with a 20mm bore for most cordless trim saws and a 190mm diameter with a 30mm bore for most cordless circular saws and cordless mitre saws.
