O'Keeffe's Working Hands is a unique formulation of moisturizing ingredients guaranteed to improve the health of your skin.
It is a water-based product with a high-concentration of Glycerin, an FDA approved skin protector. When applied to the skin, Glycerin effectively pulls in and retains moisture within the layers of the skin. Additionally, O'Keeffe's Working Hands contains Allantoin, a skin protector derived from the Comfrey plant. - Secondly, O'Keeffe's products trap that moisture at the cellular level with two occlusive agents, stearic acid and paraffin. These highly effective ingredients prevent evaporation of the hydrating compounds and water.
- Thirdly, O'Keeffe's products alter the pH in the dermis layer of the skin causing the chemoreceptors to sense this change. These receptors react by activating the body's own powerful repair cycle.
